Team activity - weekend travel

After a busy week, the team took the weekend off travel to Mt. Longonot, Naivasha, Nakuru and Hell Gate. The morning activity was hiking to Mt.Longonot. Each team member was so excited to hike to the mountain except me.

Mt. Longonot is a volcano climb with Rift Valley views. The walk way was slippery and dusty. For me, it was very challenging. This is the mountain we hike. It is about 2700m. Hiking this mountain is at our own risk.

As a result, I can only complete 2/3. While I was waiting for the team, I recognized there are many people hiking the mountain. They are primary students, tourists, families and marathon runners. It was amazing by seeing some marathon runners whom running the road.

Amazing! Patrick, Dino and Scott were beating the marathon runners.

After the tough walk, we went to Naivasha game drive. Although we saw the animals same as Amboseli, the environment and scenery was totally different. Naivasha was more green with lots of tree. This time, we have close up with buffalos, zebras and giraffes.
The zebra in the front is pregnant. She will deliver her baby zebra soon.

This is the camp lodge we stayed a night. It is beautiful. It doesn't like a camp tent but it is.

On Sunday, we tried a boat trip adventure in Lake Nakuru. See this picture, the tree shadow in a water just like a mirror. Close up! You will find Flamingo and Pelican. It is beautiful.

Look! Hippos under the water.
Beautiful pelican fly.

Dino said this is Chinese smile.
We are in the same boat.

Ulla, Olive, Jen, Patrick, Ellen and Mary were riding in another boat.
